Services

New websites, refreshes, and search support.

For counsellors, psychotherapists and small practices throughout England and the wider UK. I’m based in North Yorkshire and I work remotely. A bespoke one-page website starts at £250. An enquiry form is £50 if you want one. Further pages are quoted individually.

New counselling websites

One page, from £250.

The starting price is for a bespoke one-page website: who you are, how you work, the practical details, and how someone can reach you. It is custom-coded, not a template you log in to edit. The layout is designed for a desktop screen and a phone.

A page title and a short description are included, so the page can be understood in search results. Broader help with Google is a separate piece of work, quoted before it begins. I don’t promise a ranking.

You own the domain. Registration and renewal are paid by you to the domain company. I connect it when the site launches. The sites are generally hosted through Cloudflare. If a particular site has a hosting cost, I tell you before the work starts.

Included from £250

  • A single page designed around your practice
  • Help with the wording
  • A layout for a desktop screen and a phone
  • Room for how you work, who you see, fees, location, and membership details
  • A page title and a short description
  • A custom-coded build
  • Launch, including connecting a domain that you own

Not included in £250

  • An enquiry form, which is £50 if you want one
  • Further pages, or a more complex site, which are quoted individually
  • A refresh of a website you already have, which is quoted from that site
  • Search support beyond the page title and short description, which is quoted separately
  • An editing system, unless one is specifically built for your site

After launch, write to me when something needs changing. I’ll tell you the cost before I do it. There is no maintenance subscription. You can’t change the site yourself unless an editing system has been built for it.

Refreshes of existing websites

When the site no longer sounds like you.

I look at what you already have and say whether a refresh is enough, or whether a new website would serve the practice better. The cost depends on the site, so I quote it before we begin.

Counselling website redesign

The process

Four stages, from the first note to launch.

An enquiry is free and without obligation. Nothing is built until you know the cost.

  1. 01Initial enquiry and discussion

You write, free and with no obligation. I reply myself, usually within two working days, and we talk about the practice. I’ll tell you the cost before any work starts.

  2. 02Website design and development

I design and build the site in custom code, around how you work. The wording, the layout and the way someone gets in touch are considered together.

  3. 03Client review and refinements

You see the site and tell me what should change. We refine it before anything is launched.

  4. 04Domain connection and launch

I connect the domain you own and launch the site. Later changes are arranged by writing to me. There isn’t a set maintenance fee.

Questions

Before you write.

Do I need to write all the copy myself?

No. Some therapists arrive with words they’re happy with. Many don’t. I can help you find language that sounds like you — particularly for the About page, which is often the part people get stuck on.

I already have a website. Can it be improved rather than replaced?

Often, yes. A refresh can be the right route, and sometimes it is cleaner to start again. I’ll tell you which I think it is. Search support can sit alongside either.

How long does a new site take?

I don’t publish a fixed number of weeks. It depends on the site, and on how quickly you can look at drafts. I’ll tell you the likely timing before we begin. An enquiry is usually answered within two working days.

Can I update the website myself?

The sites are custom-coded. You can’t log in and change fees, availability or a photograph unless an editing system has been built for that particular site. When something needs changing, write to me and I’ll tell you the cost before I do it. There is no maintenance subscription.

What does £250 include?

A bespoke one-page website: the design, help with the wording, a layout for desktop and phone, a page title and a short description, and launch, including connecting a domain you own. An enquiry form is £50 if you want one. Further pages are quoted individually. I’ll tell you the cost of anything extra before it is added.

Who owns the domain?

You do. Registration and renewal are paid by you to the domain company. I connect the domain when the site is launched.

Where is the website hosted?

The sites are custom-coded and generally hosted through Cloudflare. If a particular site has a hosting cost, I tell you before the work starts. There isn’t a hosting price published here.

What do I need to send with an enquiry?

A short note is enough: the practice, where you work, and what you are hoping for. You don’t need finished wording, and you don’t need to share clinical detail. The fuller practical details come up in the discussion.

What happens after launch?

The site goes live on the domain you own. Later changes, such as fees or a photograph, are arranged by contacting me. I’ll say what a change would cost before I make it.

Do you offer help with Google search?

Yes. I can help with page titles, descriptions, and the wording around your name, location and way of working. I quote that work before we begin. I don’t promise a particular ranking, more visitors, or more enquiries.

Are you still working as a counsellor?

Yes. Eunoia Therapy is my counselling practice. Eunoia Web Studio is separate. The two aren’t mixed on this site, and the counselling informs the websites I make.
